Overview
I feel very fortunate to be in the field of Allergy and Immunology, where I get to work with children with some of the rarest diseases of the immune system as well as kids with some of the most common chronic conditions of childhood, such as asthma and seasonal allergies. It is an exciting time to be an Allergist and Immunologist, with many new therapies becoming available. What I enjoy most about what I do is working with families to manage their child’s condition so that they can focus on just being kids. My husband is also a physician at Duke Health. We are excited to return to the Triangle area where we first met as undergraduates. We have three young children and most of my spare time is spent with my beautiful family.
