Overview
The Head + Heart, Together focus of Park Nicollet aligns well with my practice philosophy. Part of this focus includes working closely with my patient, the patient's family, and my colleagues at Park Nicollet. It is important to me to establish a strong working relationship with my patients, one that is founded in mutual respect. The care I provide is based upon evidence-based medicine, with an emphasis on patient-centered, individualized treatment strategies, enabling me to provide the highest quality health care. As a rheumatologist, my expertise lies in diagnosing and managing autoimmune or rheumatic conditions. These include, but are not limited to, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, other inflammatory arthritis, gout, lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, vasculitis, inflammatory muscle disease, osteoarthritis, local soft tissue conditions and other connective tissue diseases. I also provide various injection therapies for the treatment of arthritis, tendinitis and bursitis. I typically do not provide long-term management of chronic pain conditions, including fibromyalgia as well as persistent, non-inflammatory low back or neck pain. These conditions are often best managed using an interdisciplinary approach, including rehabilitation and pain management services. Overall, it is my goal to provide high quality, compassionate care to all my patients. It is exciting to work at Park Nicollet and serve the Twin Cities area. I am passionate about providing holistic and empathic care to all of my patients.
