Overview
I am originally from Annapolis, Maryland, where I am one of four children. My mother is a physician assistant at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she has practiced for more than 35 years. She was my inspiration for pursuing this career. I spent some time right out of PA school working as a neurosurgical PA, specializing in lumbar and cervical fusions. I was also fortunate in PA school to have four rotations in various surgical specialties. I live in Raleigh with my husband and our two dogs - a great dane (Elkwood) and a beagle (Cooper). We are big sports fans and I am a loyal University Of Maryland (Go Terps), Orioles and Ravens fan. I also support my husband’s teams, which are NC State and Auburn.
