Dr. Kristen Buono is originally from San Diego, CA and completed her medical school training at the University of California San Diego. She then completed a 4-year Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Kaiser Santa Clara in Santa Clara, CA, which was followed by a 3-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (also known as Urogynecology) at the University of California Irvine in Orange, CA. She specializes in the treatment of of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse and has expertise including botulinum toxin (BotoxTM) injections and sacral neuromodulation (InterstimTM, AxonicsTM) for overactive bladder and fecal incontinence, as well as minimally-invasive surgical techniques including vaginal and robotic (Da Vinci) for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.Dr. Buono is passionate about providing compassionate and thoughtful care that is tailored to each patient's individual needs.
