My goal is to improve the health of children locally and globally with acquired and congenital heart disease. I have a specific interest in non-invasive assessment of cardiac function in fetal to adult patients with congenital heart disease. Locally, I work at Duke University Hospital and Duke Children's Health Center. Globally, I work with Duke Global Health Institute's partnerships in Western Kenya.

Duke Children's Health Center Cardiology Clinic
I specialize in diagnosing and treating heritable arrhythmia syndromes that affect children and young adults such as long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia syndrome, and short QT syndrome. I specialize in identifying the cause of patients who have experienced a sudden cardiac arrest. I am a physician-scientist and cross-trained in pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, human genetics, and molecular physiology.
