I was looking for something honorable, noble, prestigious and challenging. My desire was to serve society in a meaningful way. This was a challenging journey, but it has been a pleasure knowing that I have experienced a lot of this so far in my career as a hospitalist. What I want my patients to know about me:The needs of patients and their families are a priority for me. I do like to ask a lot of questions in order to help my patients in the best way possible. This involves taking care of the acute issues during the hospitalization and a plan after discharge to avoid readmissions. It is always a pleasure to see very sick patients improve in a matter of days and go home.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I like to spend time with my family, exercise, read and developing new skills. I do enjoy sharing my new skills and knowledge with my family, friends and colleagues.
