Dr. AJ Valenson, who was born in New York City and grew up in Houston and Honduras, earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in surgery at Cook County Hospital and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, a residency in diagnostic radiology at Yale and a fellowship in interventional radiology at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Valenson, who is board certified in radiology, has been in practice since 2006 and speaks fluent Spanish. He is a member of the Society for Interventional Radiology, American Vein and Lymphatic Society, American College of Radiology, American College of Physicians, Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society. His patients rate him very highly on his ability to explain conditions and treatments and to thoroughly answer questions. He enjoys engaging in interesting conversations and learning from his patients.
