Dr. Hernandez is an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon and specializes in the treatment of benign and cancerous breast diseases. He believes in comprehensive Breast Cancer care in conjunction with both Radiation and Medical Oncology.Over the years, Dr. Hernandez has served the regional medical community in various leadership roles that includes serving Chandler Regional Medical Center as the Chief of Staff, the Chairman of the Department of Surgery also as a Member of the hospital's Board of Directors. He is well respected in the medical community as a leader and a colleague.Dr. Hernandez was born in Mexico and immigrated to the USA at the age of ten. He has been a recognized asset to the community and has received two humanitarian awards from the Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona and the Fresh Start Women's Foundation.
