Betsy L. Schwartz

Overview

I enjoy caring for children and adolescents with diabetes and endocrine disorders (such as thyroid, growth, adrenal and puberty). I have a particular interest in childhood obesity and have been board-certified in obesity medicine. Obesity and being overweight in childhood puts children at risk for developing serious health problems. I believe in working as a team with patients, their families, dietitians, physical therapists and counselors to help children and adolescents make lifestyle changes that positively impact their health.
