Overview
Brian Kilmartin, MD upholds that it is important to offer high-quality, evidence-based care while also emphasizing each patient's unique needs. Dr. Kilmartin received his undergraduate degree Lafayette College, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Art in Religious Studies. He then attended St. Louis University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree and completed a residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland. Dr. Kilmartin's expertise includes treatment of coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, heart arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and aortic disease. When not treating patients, Dr. Kilmartin enjoys playing rugby, spending time with family, international travel, hiking and exercise.
