Dr. Brian Holland

Dr. Brian Holland is a specialty care physician board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2000. Dr. Holland serves as the Director of the Fetal Care Center at Inova Children’s and as Medical Director of Fetal Echocardiography for Inova Children’s Cardiology. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Holland practiced at Norton Children’s Hospital and the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Holland’s clinical and research interests include finding new ways to improve care for babies with heart defects diagnosed during pregnancy. He has developed novel ways to use telemedicine to provide advanced testing across large regions (fetal tele-echo). His research results show that connecting hospitals using telemedicine can improve care during pregnancy, benefiting families living in cities and those in remote areas with limited resources.
