Dr. Roberts is a diplomate of and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and American College of Endocrinology. He is certified in internal medicine and in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in neck ultrasonography by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. Roberts is a member of the American College of Endocrinology, American College of Physicians, American Institute for Healthcare Quality, and American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Physicians. His research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Diabetes Research and Therapy and is on the editorial board of Internal Medicine News. He was won numerous awards, including the Outstanding National Clinician Award from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists in 2023, Castle Connolly's Top Doctors, Consumers' Checkbook Guide to Top Doctors; Best Doctors in America, Marquis: Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare and Who's Who in the World. Outside of work, Dr. Roberts enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and reading books about history and biographies. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
