She completed her residency in general surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at New York University Langone Medical Center.Joining Northwell in 2020, Dr. Cen works closely with a team of radiation oncologists, medical oncologists and other specialists to ensure each patient is treated holistically. For cancer cases, she participates weekly on a multidisciplinary tumor board to develop personalized treatment plans. ""We're always working toward making sure patients get all the care that they need from all different angles,"" says Dr. Cen.A leader in her field, Dr. Cen has shared her research at national conferences and in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including The Breast Journal and Annals of Surgical Oncology.
