Overview
As a physician assistant in neurology, I work with patients with neurocognitive disorders, including memory disorders and dementia, as well as movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease. I am also part of a team of providers who care for and treat patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at our weekly ALS clinic. Although many of the conditions I see are not curable at this time, it is incredibly rewarding to provide care and treatment that improves mobility, relieves pain, offers comfort and improves quality of life for both patients and their families. I have great compassion and respect for my patients. Their determination and hope in the face of a difficult diagnosis, life-changing disease or condition, inspire and motivate me daily.

I am honored to care for our patients with brain and spinal cord tumors, as well as supporting their loved ones as we navigate this challenging diagnosis together. I strive to help patients find their balance between aggressive, cutting-edge brain cancer treatment and protecting their quality of life. It's important to me to care for the whole person with attention to fitness, nutrition, and mental health. I live in Chapel Hill with my husband and two children.
