Dr. Damond Blueitt

Damond Blueitt, MD, is a sports medicine physician specializing in non-operative orthopedics, complex sport concussion management, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Blueitt serves patients in Fort Worth and Keller, Texas, at Texas Orthopaedic Associates. Dr. Blueitt received a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he played wide receiver for the Mustangs. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Following graduation, he completed his residency at Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Residency at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he was named resident of the year and co-chief resident. Dr. Blueitt went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina. In addition to seeing patients at Texas Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Blueitt is a team physician for FC Dallas and several local high schools. He is also the medical director for the Texas Health Sports Medicine Concussion Program and is on the Concussion Oversight Team of numerous North Texas high schools. Dr. Blueitt is very active and believes in an active lifestyle. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
