Overview
Dana Crosby, MD, MPH, is the Department Chair and a Full Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She is a neurorhinologist and endoscopic skull base surgeon with advanced training in the endoscopic treatment of diseases of the sinuses and skull base. Diseases treated include: chronic infection and inflammation of the sinuses, nasal polyps, sinus cancers, CSF leaks, pituitary and other tumors of the skull base, as well as, endoscopic approaches to orbital issues including orbital decompression, dacryocystorhinostomy, and tumors of the orbital apex.
Dr. Crosby attended college at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Southern Illinois University. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She also earned a Master's of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
Dr. Crosby’s research is focused on identifying factors that impact treatment outcomes of chronic rhinosinusitis, sinonasal cancer, and skull base tumors. The goal is to identify methods that will ultimately improve patient outcomes.
