Anita P. Courcoulas, MD, MPH, FACS, is a minimally invasive general surgeon certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery. She is a professor of surgery and chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Bariatric and General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Courcoulas attended Brown University, where she graduated with honors and completed her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, also with honors.
