Daniel Jackson, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric allergist and a tenured professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology.Dr. Jackson cares for children with allergies and immune disorders, including asthma and food allergies. He is the principal investigator of the National Institutes of Health research consortium on the special challenges that kids with asthma face in urban settings.Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his children.The most exciting part of my profession is the opportunity to take care of kids and to help improve their quality of life.
