Overview
David Freeman, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Freeman earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine (now Drexel University) in 1986. He completed his residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric cardiology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Dr. Freeman joined UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2022. His clinical interests include congenital heart disease, pediatric echocardiography, and having intellectual conversations with children in the office. In his spare time, Dr. Freeman enjoys playing the harmonica.

UPMC Pediatric Heart Institute
Megan McGreevy, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist and is certified in both pediatric cardiology and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. McGreevy earned her medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and competed her pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh followed by a pediatric chief residency. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at UPMC. Dr. McGreevy joined UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in March of 2022. Her clinical interests include fetal cardiology, congenital heart disease and congenital echocardiography. Dr. McGreevy has published numerous articles and is a member of both American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography. Her top areas of expertise are Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C), Kawasaki Disease, and Coarctation of the Aorta.
