She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, and her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Jimenez then returned to Georgia and had the unique opportunity to work with her father Dr. A Louis Jimenez for the first 15 years of her career and continues to work alongside her brother, Dr. Dorian Jimenez. Her love of children has led to a special interest in pediatrics and sports injuries.Dr. Margo A. Jimenez completed her residency in Advanced Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle at Northlake Medical Center in Tucker, GA. She is passionate about the education and advancement of Podiatric Medicine and continues to be actively involved in the resident training program at Emory University School of Medicine. She lectures nationally and is a member of the Podiatry Institute, an internationally recognized teaching foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients with foot, ankle, and leg disorders through innovative education, research, and service. She has published multiple articles on Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle and has contributed multiple chapters in the Podiatry Institute Manual. Dr. Jimenez donates her time and expertise to medical missions to the Dominican Republic and plans to continue missions to all areas in need.Dr. Jimenez enjoys spending time with her family on their small farm in Monroe, GA. She is very active in her community and her church. She enjoys baking, farming, gardening, soccer, and going on adventures with her family.
