Overview
Oncology has always been my specialty interest throughout my career as a nurse and now as a nurse practitioner. Robust research efforts renders oncology an ever changing and evolving field which satisfies my personal preference to be always in pursuit of education and new opportunities to learn and grow professionally and personally. My primary clinical interest is ensuring optimal and personalized patient and family navigation through the cancer trajectory to anticipate, address, and reduce barriers to high-quality cancer care. In my time away from work, I most enjoy travel, gardening, reading, writing, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I love being near the water and enjoy nearly any activity in, near or by a river, lake or ocean. Particularly precious are the opportunities I have to travel with or simply spend time relaxing with my husband, our adult children and their families and our parents.
