Derek Lim, DO, is a fellowship-trained surgeon at Atlantic Medical Group with special expertise in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, he offers effective and advanced surgical techniques for those in need of intervention for diseases, including obesity and other abdominal disorders.Dr. Lim is proficient in state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgical techniques and has certifications in endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. He performs minimally invasive procedures for all types of conditions including weight loss, hernia repair, acid reflux, and colorectal disease. His special training in bariatric surgery provides patients suffering from obesity with options including gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and conversion surgery.
