Perry Pickhardt, MD, is a UW Health radiologist and a professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He performs advanced abdominal imaging to help diagnose a wide range of conditions affecting the stomach, large and small intestines, liver, spleen and gallbladder.Dr. Pickhardt uses X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds to diagnose conditions such as abdominal pain, appendicitis (inflammation of the appendix) and diverticulitis (inflammation or infection in the pouches of the digestive tract).
