He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa, followed by a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Advanced Pelvic Surgery at the University of Washington and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University.
