Overview
Emily Robinson, MD, FACS, graduated with Honors from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 1993. She completed her residency at McGovern Medical School, during which she was awarded an NIH T-32 postdoctoral research fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. After her surgical residency she completed a Breast Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. A member of the faculty of McGovern Medical School, Dr. Robinson continues her NIH funded research and has served on multiple committees for both the hospital and medical school. She is the chair of the Memorial Hermann Integrated Cancer and Surgical Process Improvement Committees. She serves as Vice Chair of Quality and Associate Program director for the Department of Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Robinson is developing a busy surgical practice focused around breast disease. She sees patients at her offices in Bellaire, Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital and at the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center - Texas Medical Center as part of an integrated multi-specialty breast clinic. She treats both benign and malignant breast disease.
