Overview
I have worked at Duke Health with the Advanced Endoscopy Team, primarily treating pancreas and biliary diseases, since 2007. I have had a love of medicine and desired a career in health care since I was 12 and have a passion for patient education. I think it is critical that my patients understand their disease process, what is or is not happening, and not just what tests or procedures we will be doing, but why we are doing them. My role is fairly focused on pancreas and biliary diseases and other problems requiring advanced endoscopy techniques, so I often work with a patients primary medical team to provide care. In my free time, I love reading a book and spending time with my husband, three kids, and our Aussiedoodle.

I am a physician assistant in the division of gastroenterology. I treat many types of liver problems, including autoimmune hepatitis, genetic conditions, and viral hepatitis.
