Overview
I am a diagnostic radiologist specialized in breast imaging and image-guided breast procedures. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to interact directly with patients, whether it is when performing imaging evaluation for a palpable lump or performing an image-guided biopsy. Imaging technology plays a key role in the early diagnosis of breast cancer when treatments are most effective. My role as a radiologist is also to make sure that imaging is performed safely, with minimal radiation exposure or unnecessary procedures. I feel that the benefits we have seen from finding early cancers with routine screening mammography can be further enhanced with emerging technologies, such as screening breast MRI, contrasted mammography, or other technologies not yet discovered. My practice strives to be at the forefront of evidence-based breast imaging as well as provide personalized, compassionate care to patients.
