Overview
George takes a compassionate, patient-centered, and collaborative approach to mental health care, meeting each person where they are in their unique journey toward feeling and thinking their best. With over a decade of experience across diverse clinical settings, he combines a deep understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence-based practice with genuine empathy and respect for each patient’s story. George empowers patients through education, discussing evidence-based treatment options, benefits, and risks so they can make informed choices that align with their goals. His holistic approach integrates psychosocial, medical, dietary, behavioral, and spiritual dimensions of wellness, recognizing mental health extends beyond medication alone.
George’s passion for psychiatry began early in his nursing career while working in the Emergency Department, where he witnessed firsthand the need for accessible, compassionate mental health care.
Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs, exploring nature through hiking, camping, surfing, and scuba diving. He loves writing and playing music and traveling—especially when the journey takes him off the grid.
