Philosophy of care | I strive to provide you with personal, attentive, compassionate and complete care, while providing you with the information needed to help make well-informed decisions about your medical options. I consider treating my patients a great privilege and take that responsibility seriously. My philosophy has always been pretty simple: Treat your patients as you would want to be treated. I will take the time to listen to your story, concerns and needs, educate you about all your choices and provide the best care possible to get you back to your goals. | Why I entered medicine | I consider medicine as a vocation and have always felt my decision to become a physician was a calling. From a young age, I began to appreciate the great joy that came with being able to make a positive impact on someone’s well-being. This fueled my desire to become a physician and helped me channel my energy in the pursuit of a career in medicine. Over my many years in practice, I have had the privilege of getting to know many wonderful people and have experienced the great satisfaction that comes with being able to assist them on their journey – these are some of the great gifts I have been lucky enough to receive that have validated my decision to become a doctor. | Community involvement | I have belonged to numerous professional societies, acted as a clinical instructor for numerous educational programs and have provided medical coverage for several local high schools. | Personal interests | I’m an avid martial artist and black belt who has studied under several different disciplines.
