Overview
After working as a nurse for several years, I decided to follow my passion for helping patients by becoming a nurse practitioner and specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. I enjoy this area of medicine and find it very rewarding to work with patients to help them recover and improve their quality of life. My special interests include traumatic brain injury and stroke follow-up. Always keeping in mind that everyone has different needs, I listen carefully and work with my patients to help customize their care for the best possible outcome. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family, music, dancing, swimming and cooking. I am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
