Overview
As an interventional gastroenterologist, I enjoy diagnosing and treating GI tract and pancreatobiliary disorders, especially through endoscopic procedures. My area of expertise and interest is therapeutic endoscopy, and I have completed a dedicated fellowship training in advanced endoscopy (ERCP/EUS) from the University of Minnesota. Along with general GI procedures such as upper endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and PEG tube placement, I perform many advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including esophageal stent, colon stent, duodenal stent, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with fine needle aspiration/biopsy (FNA/FNB), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) with biliary and/or pancreatic stent and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), to name just a few. Because every patient is unique, I provide care tailored to each person's need and situation. I treat my patients the way I would want my family members or friends to be treated. I live in Plymouth with my wife and two young boys. My wife is an internist and works as a primary care physician. In my spare time, I like biking and boating with my boys and wife. As a family, we also love to explore the world and travel locally and internationally. I am member of following professional associations: *American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) *American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) *American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) *American Medical Association (AMA).
