Heather Hamilton, MD, is a family medicine physician who provides medical care services to patients of all ages-newborns and up. Dr. Hamilton earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, and completed her residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Hamilton providers services for a variety of medical conditions both chronic and acute, such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid problems, depression, annual physical exams, well woman exams, sports injuries and sinus infections, among many others. She performs in-office procedures such as joint injections, dermatologic procedures, and long-term contraception device placement. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, diabetes, weight management and women’s health. With a warm and passionate demeanor, Dr. Hamilton focuses on listening to her patients to create a medical care plan and to form life-long relationships. Her favorite part of being a physician is that her patients challenge her to be the best health coach possible and to provide high quality, well-rounded health care. In her spare time, Dr. Hamilton loves spending time with her family and dog. She enjoys watching and participating in sports as well as being active outdoors. She also enjoys reading novels and doing puzzles.
Her clinical expertise encompasses Familial Hypertension, Glucocorticoid-Remediable Aldosteronism, and Hypertension.
She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 1 peer reviewed article. Dr. Hamilton is currently accepting new patients.
