Dr. Isa S. Mohammed

Isa Sayyeed Karim Mohammed is the director of refractive surgery and specializes in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. He performs complex cataract surgery, corneal transplantation (penetrating keratoplasty, deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty, and descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty and descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty) and the entire range of refractive surgery, including laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis, photorefractive keratectomy and implantable collamer lenses surgery. Dr. Mohammed earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at The Johns Hopkins University and then received his medical doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
