Dr. Tehrani is also part of the team that introduced renal denervation services for treating resistant hypertension, as well as the rapid-response team for diagnosing and treating pulmonary embolism and the team that treats chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. Recognized nationally for his leadership, Dr. Tehrani serves on committees for both the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts and book chapters, with his work published in top medical journals including Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), JACC: Heart Failure, JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, JAMA Cardiology, Circulation: Heart Failure, and Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
