I am in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a sub-specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. I take care of women with pelvic floor disorders. That includes women who suffer from disorders related to childbirth and disorders resulting from aging of the pelvic floor including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and bowel leakage. My father was an academic obstetrician and gynecologist and through my life that served as a role model for me.
