
Overview
His own experience with doctors during childhood impressed James K. Fortman II, MD, with how a physician can make a difference in people's lives. His desire to help people, plus his interest in science and technology, led him to a career in medicine. Dr. Fortman is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He previously served as an assistant professor in pain medicine. Dr. Fortman takes a team approach with his patients, laying out the treatment options and advantages before deciding on a plan, always focused on a positive outcome for the patient.
