The patient's entire family is part of the treatment team, and their participation is essential in successful delivery of the best medicine. | Why I entered medicine | My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer when I was in high school and passed when I was in college. Enduring her journey through the treatment process gave me the insight and desire to enter medicine with an eye toward comprehensive, compassionate care. | Community involvement | I have been involved in caring for pediatric cancer patients at a summer camp in Gretna Glen, Lebanon County, both as a counselor and as camp physician. | Personal interests | My hobbies include reading, enjoying podcasts on my commute to and from work, and spending time with my beautiful family.
