Determined to become a doctor from an early age, Dr. Roland fell in love with pediatrics during residency. He appreciates being part of the family health care team and often shares his experience as a father of three daughters.Dr. Roland sees children from newborn through college age for acute illnesses, well-child visits and preventive care. He focuses on listening to his patients, providing education so both parents and children can express their needs. He volunteers as a medical consultant with Let Them LOL, a nonprofit that provides clean water, education and health care to the people of Sierra Leone. He has traveled yearly to the African country to provide pro bono medical care and help establish a freestanding clinic.
