As a family medicine doctor with over a decade of experience in obesity medicine, I am passionate about helping my patients improve their quality of life and longevity through evidence-based weight management treatments. My approach to patient care is both holistic and personalized. I strive to deliver a high standard of care that respects patient autonomy while being mindful of potential intrinsic biases. One of my particular areas of interest is the care of post-bariatric surgery patients. I also work in urgent care, providing timely support during acute situations. I value and enjoy the opportunity to offer care in these settings. I completed my residency in family medicine at Smiley's Family Medicine Clinic with the University of Minnesota and earned my medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. I see patients in both Spanish and English.
