Dr. Jet Liu

Dr. Jet Liu is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing inOrthopedics and Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, and Robotic Surgery. He isdedicated to serving the Houston community, providing compassionate, personalized carethat addresses the unique needs and goals of each individual he serves. He believes inempowering patients through education and involving them in the decision-making processto achieve the best possible outcomes.Dr. Liu began practicing medicine with a profound calling to make the healing presenceof God known in our world by improving the health of the people he serves. His researchinterests include topics in genomics, transcription regulation, disease genes prioritization,and machine learning, often examining these areas through the lens of computer scienceand statistics. Recently, his work has focused on using Generalized Graphical Models andAugmented Reality techniques to integrate diverse data types, advancing our understandingof neurological diseases.Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Liu's academic journey includes a BS in Biology from theUniversity of Texas at Dallas Richardson, an MD from the Paul L. Foster School of MedicineEl Paso, a residency at Baylor College of Medicine Houston in Orthopedic Surgery, and afellowship at Cleveland Clinic Cleveland in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery.
