Dr. Harrigan received his bachelor's degree in biology from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. Dr. Harrigan then completed his internship at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stamford, Connecticut, and his residency in family practice at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
