Overview
I chose to work in primary care because I see the value in maintaining an individual’s health, treating chronic conditions, and developing long-term relationships with my patients. My goal is to work with my patients to establish goals for their health and to develop a mutual plan of care to help them achieve these goals. I strive to establish a trusting relationship based on empathy, honesty, and mutual respect. I see patients for a variety of visit types, including preventive care, health maintenance, sick visits, and follow-up visits for chronic conditions. I am passionate about helping my patients improve their health so they can live a long, healthy life and be able to do the things they love. I grew up in Wilson, NC, a small town outside of Raleigh, and now live with my husband and two dogs in Youngsville, NC. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, going to the beach, exercising, and going on long walks with my two dogs.
