Dr. Jordan E. Grubbs is an experienced board certified general and bariatric surgeon affiliated with UT Physicians where she is an Assistant Professor of Surgery. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her general surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her advanced GI MIS/Bariatric fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Grubbs is specialized in minimally invasive surgical techniques with a focus on bariatric surgery, foregut operations, and hernia repairs in addition to general surgery. She performs laparoscopic and robotic assisted surgery to allow her patients the quickest recovery. She performs weight loss surgery including the Roux-en-y gastric bypass and gastric sleeve, antireflux operations for gastroesophageal reflux disease, gallbladder surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and many other general surgery procedures. At the medical school, he serves as the Medical Director of Surgical Training and part of the Elective General Surgery team.
