Overview
I chose internal medicine because I enjoy working collaboratively with patients of all ages, from their teen years into advanced age. I focus my practice on prevention, health promotion and healthy aging. My special interests include hypertension, diabetes and women's health. I believe an informed patient is an empowered patient and I see the importance of establishing a personal connection and creating a unique, patient-centered treatment plan. My practice style is to guide, rather than to dictate patient care, toward achieving the best possible level of health and well-being at all stages of life. In my spare time, I like traveling and spending quality time with my friends and family. My goal is to run a half marathon in all 50 states and do at least one full marathon.
