Overview
Dr. Horwitz is an abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon at the Swedish Organ Transplant Center. He specializes in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation as well as the surgical management of both benign and malignant conditions of the liver. After attending the NYU School of Medicine, he completed his general surgery training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, including a two-year transplant immunology research fellowship. He then completed a transplant surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
