He subsequently completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at JFK Neuroscience Institute in Edison, NJ, where he received additional training in EEG, epilepsy, and EMG. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

He attained his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed Neurology residency at the Neurological Institute of New York, at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
