Overview
I've been interested in family medicine since I was a teenager and spent my summer observing and helping my aunt, a well-known family doctor in a rural area of Myanmar. It is a great honor to be a family doctor. I believe the hallmark of a good family doctor is prolonged contact with patients, which provides the opportunity to gather information on each patient and build a relationship of trust. During my medical career, I have worked with a variety of patients with a wide range of conditions and gained tremendous clinical experience involving every aspect of patient management. Family medicine has always appealed to me. I enjoy seeing patients of both sexes and of varying ages and races, with a multitude of different concerns and diagnoses. My favorite part of being a family doctor is helping people stay healthy. I am particularly interested in women's health and diabetes management.
