Dr. Keith C. Watson

Keith Watson, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Texas Orthopaedic Associates specializing in complex shoulder issues involving arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and revision procedures. Dr. Watson grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and has been privileged to serve the area and its surrounding communities with quality care for over 40 years. After graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Watson went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern medical school in Dallas, Texas. Following a surgical internship at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, he then completed his orthopedic residency at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Becoming one of the country’s first fellowship-trained shoulder surgeons, Dr. Watson then completed his shoulder fellowship at the New York Orthopedic Hospital in New York City, New York, with highly revered Dr. Charles Neer. Dr. Watson is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and served as a Board Examiner for 10 years as well. He is also one of the founding members of the prestigious American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons society, where he has served in numerous leadership roles. Dr. Watson has been involved in the development of several shoulder arthroplasty systems, written and published numerous articles, and presented and lectured at many national and international conferences. He has been named top doctor numerous times by Texas Monthly and the Fort Worth Magazine.
