Overview
I have been a physician assistant since 2008. I see emergency general surgery and trauma patients in the hospital. Emergency general surgery includes conditions such as appendicitis, gallbladder disease, diverticulitis, bowel obstructions, GI tract cancers, and abscesses. Trauma conditions can range from falls, motor vehicle accidents, or penetrating trauma, such as gunshot wounds/stab wounds. I love this specialty and providing the care necessary to treat all of these conditions. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, working out, playing tennis, going to church, listening to music, and spending time outside.
