Philosophy of care | I am here to help you make important decisions about your health. Vascular disease is complex and ever evolving; new therapies, technologies and techniques are constantly being developed. My goal is to ensure you understand all available options – from medical management (no surgery) to endovascular or open surgery. I often draw pictures and review imaging with my patients so they can make informed decisions and feel comfortable with their care plan. | Why I entered medicine | I have always been interested in science, math and technology. I studied chemical engineering in college and enjoyed it, but after shadowing a surgeon in the operating room, I knew I wanted to pursue medicine. Vascular surgery turned out to be the perfect combination of my interests: it allows me to help patients, work with my hands and use technology in ways unique to the field. | Community involvement | I was born in Allentown and grew up in Center Valley. My family, who still live in the area, are patients at Lehigh Valley Health Network. It is a privilege to return home after training in Philadelphia and San Francisco and to serve the community where I grew up. | Personal interests | I enjoy snowboarding, photography and working on my car and motorcycle.
